Aretha is a passionate leader with 20 years of experience in Business Development, Strategy, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Partnerships, Stakeholder Management as well as People and Program management.

Before joining INKOMOKO, she worked for Africa Improved Foods, Skol, CFC Western Union, and KCB Bank, amongst others. She served as spokesperson, built and managed brands, commercialized products & services, and managed multi-million-dollar programs.

Aretha holds a master’s degree in International Communications from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), a diploma in Human Rights from the University College Henry Dunant (Switzerland), and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the School of Finance and Banking.

Aretha believes in an enterprising and creative Africa and is the co-founder of le Village de la Femme (Women’s Avenue), a platform to empower Women Entrepreneurs.
